I really think that inbestment in the W.A. needs to consider the facts of Environmental Impact Statements compliance for uranium, versus any Liberal Pparty huffing and puffing about non-existent SMR's and some fantastical thinking out of the potato, or any ludicrous idea that Libby Mettam is going to win the election and change uranium mining bans instantly next year.

THis resource directly abuts the QVR nature reserve and is upstream from it. To propose ISR as a method of extracting uranium from the resource when the hydrology would push solubilised uranium down into the QVR nature reserve is just asking for a protracted review by DBCA and the inevitable escalation to Commonwealth department of the environment. Demonstrating the proposed operation, even as it stands at the moment as a nebulous RPEEE thought-bubble, will not affect the QVR nature reserve is going to be a massively complicated and expensive exercise.

In my opinion, Mr He should consider these factors in his strategy for developing the Stallion Resource, and determine whether he should expend money on pushing this nugget uphill with a rake.
