Because Ya Global get their money back OR converted into shares at the 10 day VWAP prior to issue. Ya Global is an opportunistic loan shark who lends to good projects (which LYC has) in the knoweldge they may one day end up with a very large equity stake in that project very cheaply. The lower the share price goes the happier Ya Global is!
I hope the funding is done but I smell a rat everytime LYC puts out an announcement that makes it look like finance is a done deal but in truth it isn't. We will not know until end of Jan although those in contact with the inner sanctum will know. With 1 week to go upper management and their lawyers would know if the bond holders are squirming out of the deal or not!
