What a great announcement and whilst unlikely to move the dial for the market in the short term, it is building on the momentum the company has been building since WB took the stage. Exploration drilling has ramped up massively and we are seeing continued flow through to all of WGX operations.

Great Fingall.... tick
Bluebird U/G expansion... tick
and now Starlight... over a 50% increase with depletion included.
With 330k in M&I, this bodes extremely well for a mine life (60-85k ounces p.a) pushing out towards 4-5 years (with further expansion of the MRE almost guaranteed). As the drill rigs are not stopping.
The boring bit, but... most important part is below.
If they can further ramp up the mining rates at Starlight, Fortnum could return to being the most profitable operation within the WGX portfolio.
