Not a stupid question at all. No a capital raise can be at a higher premium than market. This is not traditional but there are many factors to consider for a sophisticated investor. It is not impossible but quite unlikely. As you say GAS is tightly held, with good reason IMO so a premium to market price is not outrageous. Feral
