According to the company website, the investment team has 17 other individuals. Sure, HD is CIO and lead PM but some seem to suggest that the other 17 team members won't do their day jobs and that HD will all of a sudden abandon whatever investment process they have in place. If there were only a few others in the investment team, then maybe this could be a problem.
The suggestion is almost as good as the CEO leaving means investment performance will tank. The CEO wasn't even part of the investment team.
