You are correct in pointing out the disconnect between Gold price and gold miner share price.
If you troll around the internet you can find historical comparison graphs between the two which indicate the ratio is way below historical norms.
(I am sorry I could not post a graph, but I am traveling).
As pistol points out, the ratio will correct, but it a lag is usual.
