Aristocrat have been planning this Playtech move for a very long time; part of their stategising would have foreseen that these Asian interests could/would do exactly what is transpiring now.
And no doubt, at the appropriate time, they will deploy measures which will neutralise whatever stands in their way of realising their grand plan.
At least that's what I'm hoping....mind you I think that "unregulated" component of Playtech's is what is at the heart of the current stand-off.
