I have a gut feel that this Ominicon variant may be an advantage, especially if it's less sever than Delta and faster spreading, as it may become the dominant strain causing Delta to die out, which means it may not be as deadly and we may all be able to live with it going forward. I think most countries will retighten border restrictions to try and prevent this variant taking hold until more data is available on it.
Unfortunately that may be a big problem for shareholders of DNA.
