They definitely have panels that would have been basically hand made in the lab. What we are after is one that has run through the machines, preferably at something approaching production speed. The idea is to integrate the DSC process straight into the production line, I assume around the same time they would normally apply paint. So it needs to be able to be applied at roughly the same speed.
They did say they expected that to happen around now, and the ann. says they are on schedule without really saying what they are up to. A news article showing off the panels would be nice, I am sure Corus will be a bit more PR savvy when it comes to it.
I think the key from the ann. was "commercially viable" this sounds good to me. All the risk here is that they hit a wall when they try to ramp things up and it takes years to overcome. That hasnt happened yet, so everything is good.
