I believe no one will take over BSL, it would of happened by now, like many stated already on this thread, P.K needs heaps of money just to maintain it, yet alone upgrading it. I reckon the plan is BSL will gradually move to Asia and close down port kembla altogether in the next 3-4 years. BSL is not missed by the City of Newcastle.
The current MD Mr O'Malley inhertied BSL with a millstone around its neck, courtesy of the previous MD Kirby Adams.The damaged we see now has come about of the things they done and not done many years ago.
