Well I suppose Bud Light didn't do any (or maybe proper) research either and only lost billions....so who knows about Stellanitis but I would seriously doubt they didn't do any. Away from the $$$ - the timeframe will become exceptionally important. If E25 fails then both Stellanitis & GM will be scrambling for battery grade.....
