One is more expensive to produce and the other is cheaper and easier to mine, compare this to many other IAC projects and this is far superior, for example you look at some of the Aussie IAC projects and what are they averaging? Around 1000ppm or less. This is way better...
If we are using Hard rock spod vs lithium brine for example, who were the first ones to get effected by lower prices? The Spod concentrate producers.... While a good brine operation can still make plenty of money.
