Auger drilling vs diamond drilling clay vs hard rock we drill 10x as many holes into better grades at 20x less cost than there is processing hard rock.
Crushing, grinding, separation, acids heat application to process = hard rock.
Clay gravity separation and leaching to produce concentrate mixed REE.
Not hard to work out why.
