Not sure to be truthful. Clearly there is plenty of gold around but I did note that all of the significant intersections in this round of drilling were quite deep @ more than 70 m. I am not sure of the ins and outs of mining costing, but to me this implies that if they are to tackle this orebody via open cut then a heck alot of very low grade stuff needs to be moved before they can get to the higher grade stuff which will negatively impact overall economics.
Perhaps someone else here with a better understanding of the economics of different gold mining methods can shed some light on things...? But judging by the luke warm response, perhaps my instinct is correct?
