A TA is the biggest manipulator as the traders can visualise the price. A TA put a pause on normal trading. It’s a psychological barrier to buy and enter as everyone wants to enter at the lowest price as possible so when a chart shows a support and resistance prices then traders psychologically take them as benchmark prices for entry and exit.
