Some points/thoughts/food for thought:
DRE's Niobium Exploration Target of:
--> 15-60Mt @ 0.5%-1.0% Nb
--> mid-point of 37.5Mt @ 0.75% Nb, with higher grade section(s)
There's only 3 producing Niobium mines in the world - with the Canadian Niobec mine's average grade being 0.41% Nb (ie. quite a bit lower than DRE's).
HAS have a Niobium resource of:
--> 6.7Mt @ 0.23% Nb
--> per their RIU presentation, they will be adding a Niobium circuit to their REE plant/producing Niobium
--> development/plant construction under way, fully permitted, with big/capable JV partner
--> HAS will be the next Niobium producer (ie. before WA1)
Like with the REEs, HAS has the Niobium "crumbs" from the DRE side, so you'd think that there will be some "consolidation" with DRE (Niobium, and REE), to make the Wyloo/HAS operation (more) profitable (which would make DRE/DRE's project also a producer before WA1 - imagine that! haha).
So, DRE have done their bit and are now looking to get a partner (from the iron ore, steel or coal industry) to progress the Niobium (Wyloo might have some contacts with a certain iron ore company!).
