Speculation of a potential takeover and the recent offer by Santos despite being rejected offers OSH more credibility as an actual player in the sector. It’s green pastures for OSH for a while at least, OSH will pass Santos proposed bid perhaps by this weeks end. Talks need to continue between OSH and Santos and then this will continue to be green from here on, as speculation and fomo will drive this past recent highs on the prospect that other parties especially U.S energy companies may make a more favourable bid. The risk is if talks between Santos and OSH come to an abrupt end the share price will reverse all gains like when in 2015 WPL cancelled their talks with OSH.
