Cheers, I got back in at $3.77. I took a small profit the other day- the macro was pointing to the SP falling again. This is a small holding this time- with room to average down later if appropriate.

Why did I sell? What do you do if you think that share prices will fall? You could sit on cash and wait for the fall- but then it can hit the bottom and rise again before you know it- and you miss the chance to profit from the fall. I prefer to have some cash- and to trade as share prices are falling- find that better than just waiting for the bottom. Something like that.

US 10 year bond rates are on a tear. Our rates will need to follow suit, and they are, otherwise the Australian dollar will fall- that means imports become more expensive- more inflation- and more expensive to borrow from overseas- as our institutions do.

Looking like our markets could struggle again tomorrow. Happy to have cash- so I do not mind a red day.

    IMHO DYOR
