REVIEW OF OPERATIONS

The economic entity recorded an operating loss of $1,241,832 compared
to an operating loss of $669,099 in the previous year. During the
year the economic entity undertook a mine reopening study of the base
metal Wilga Mine at Benambra in Victoria. The economic viability of
reopening the Wilga Mine is subject to ongoing review.

The economic entity carried out exploration programs of the base and
precious metal prospects in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales
with the objective of identifying metal deposits capable of
sustaining economic mining activities.
