The comparisons I have heard about Sandfire Resources and the Degrussa mine are brilliant.

The Storm has a very strong capacity to produce a very very high grade very very high margin product that is almost double (it was suggested 53, then 50 - 60% and now I have heard 60-70%) the grade Sandfire was producing from Degrussa ( it commonly produced an exceptional 35% cu product).

Most copper mines have an average grade of 0.5- 0.6% copper, Escondida has grades of between 0.2 & 1%.

I would hazard a guess and suggest that our grades in the shallows are much higher than this.

Degrussa saw Sandfire move from sub 10cents in Feb 2009, treading water for a good year or so before Feb 2009, after that it escalated as Sandfire at Degrussa went from explorer to producer and climbed to above $7.30 in Oct 2010, less than 2 yrs later.

The copper price during this period in Feb 09 to Oct 10 started around $3200 and ramped up ti $8200 usd approx.

If we can produce a better higher grade product closer to the end users in Europe and the Americans etc now when demand for Copper is going to sky rocket and the price is at least $9200t today -

wow.
