It may be short but the numbers are mind blowing.
If I recall correctly in one of the company's slide decks, acquisitions in this space are done at a multiple of something like 15x revenues.
Do the math - USD130m at a multiple of 15 puts a price of about USD1.95bn on EMC as a potential acquisition.
Does that translate to an AUD8 or AUD9 share price?
Sorry, but the thought makes me woozy, affecting my ability to perform accurate calculations.
