    The link below refers to a story in the Financial Review today about critical metals and the visit by the US Export-Import bank to Australia. Given today's announcement and the postings by EQR last week about the US export/import bank, there is likely to be more going on.

    US and Australia shore up critical minerals supply.
    News in this AFR article this weekend by Elouise Fowler highlights the importance of this alliance.
