EGR does have a valid mining license, they are currently applying for a Special Mining License,.they are onky allowed for project that have a capex above US$100mil,
EGR recently updated its feasibility study with the expansion of the initial production, expansion of the tailings dam, increases mine life and new.minibg method. due.to.the increased capex, it allows EGR to apply for the SML that has many attractive advantages over a standard mining licence.
