So I fired off an email to Neil Elliot at Cornish Lithium.
I basically asked about their MRE at Trelavour (I put their figures into the same DFS model scenario I used for spodumene v lepidolite post) and the stated plans to use Lepidolite process to produce LiOH. We should not forget that Cornish has "dual" strategy of geothermal brines (so think Vulcan Energy) for (likely) carbonate and hard rock (lepidolite) for hydroxide. It will be interesting (to me anyway) how the 2 projects will compete for capital.
Anyway to quote Neil "... As you rightly point out we are looking to utilise Lepidico’s processing technology to produce a lithium hydroxide at Trelavour ..." ... and I'm looking forward to reviewing what their scoping study brings forth.
