GST ,which has been recently enforced in India, will clear the bottle necks for Logistics- which is the key issue for any mining cartage.
It is believed that GST could increase the efficiency and reduce costs of cartage. Interstate Toll booths and check posts used to be bottle neck for the trucks carting all the goods ( Iron ore inclusive). With the inclusion of GST, the more efficient electronic Way bills have been incorporated and also most of the Toll booths have been ( or in the process) dismantled . This should see more turn around times for the trucks.
This GST hype in India, even if there is a modicum of truth, should bring huge cost benefits to NSL and should see our Cost price per ton further reduced ( or atleast hoping).
