can you elaborate on the geological rationale re more of the same? is it as syneites are also considered a REE host rock and this unit would've likely been subject to the same weathering process of the greater caldera?
I'm assuming mineralogy and TREO/MREO would vary if a the protolith/original fresh rock is different to the alkaline complex..?
