If you wouldn't buy those shares for 10c after reading what they are doing today, then don't take up the offer IMO. You have no obligation to throw more cash in, the sunk cost fallacy is just a trick our primitive minds play on us, that might stop us starving our children to death - lol - or whatever.
As somebody on the sidelines, I'd personally be happier to pay 20c and have good news in q3 or q4 that gives me some confidence that things are turning around, than 10c on an optimistic hopecast.
