Minimum investment at the moment I agree, but it is an explorer in its early stage. Alkane has its operations in NSW and there is quite some distance to the Pilbara region, if I`m not wrong, so no synergy effects regarding equipment.In the future it needs much bigger investments to develop any project there. And with possible 10% Alkane is only junior partner.
At the moment it is not really clear to me, why this has been done, sorry. Maybe time will tell.
