but if they had waited their cash reserves could have got to the point of being low enough for ASIC to ask questions about runway for the business. I don't recall the exact figures but if cash reserves fall below a certain level ASIC need to be informed I believe (pls correct me if I am wrong).

so they have got some funding via a CN - expensive but at least the investor has skin in the game post the expiry of the loan which shows me they have confidence in the business. just my thoughts and happy to be challenged etc
