Less likely to fall over as long as commodity prices don't fall off a cliff.

Timing
Shareholders will need to vote: either on sale of [all] assets (sale of parts) or sale of company.
Herod (initial) contract till dec 2023; can be extended; bonus valid till Mar 24.
Based on the above, IMO, it is probable (or at least possible) that the plan (at least initially) is for a "Sale Vote" at the AGM.
This would avoid the cost of an additional, costly EGM. Due to circumstances, this may not be practical.

When Will We Find Out?
Annual Finacial Statements, September 27th or thereabouts
Should get an update, but it may still be vague unless sales process is close to finalisation.

Annual Report Webinar shortly thereafter: OEL held one last year.
Can only get additional information based on "what has been announced".

Notice of AGM with resolutions, early October
If is a sale of the parts for cash [could be a single buyer] and return of cash, then it is likely to be at the Notice of AGM.I think that this is most likely.

AGM mid-November
Shareholder vote, deals done, cash returned

Deals Done, and Cash Returned by Dec 24th = Merry Christmas


Sale of Company as a whole (for cash and/or shares in the bidder) is less likely as shareholders have the right to accept or decline offer.
