    Are spin offs a good thing?? More often than not that seems a way to isolate long term investors of the parent company from the benefits and gains of new branches of progress. That being said i guess these things have to be funded somehow but as soon as they become a spin off seems only the power brokers manage to keep a finger on the prize.
