As I see it, Kuiten is a subsidiary of Xanadu, with Xanadu owning all the shares (unlisted).
Xanadu is selling half of the shares to Zijin and will receive the USD35m.
Its just the same as you selling your BHP shares, the money goes to you, the seller, not to BHP.
