Doubt it - think market doesn't get equity portion of deal is not only done at siginificant premium, but forgeys to include implied valuation of Kharmagtai for $$ tipped in at JV. Deal EV has to be multiples of equity component....would be great if company would spell that out!
XAM been loud and clear in its presos (see P5):
Change of control in XAM requires a post-deal offer from Zijin, subject to XAM shareholder approval.
Would shareholders approve a low ball takeover deal...I think not..Deal EV is the absolute base, which of course exceeds 4cps.
BUT you do put across an interesting theory.. maybe a hostile TO bidding war starts prior to deal completing, and then game on!
