We've got the Indonesian sophisticated investor onboard now. And the Japanese company. $250m spent on Hillside to date. There must be lots of confidential discussions on at least these two fronts. I was fascinated to read someone write here on HC that the investor has already funded an Australian mine to completion.

I am sick and tired of hearing the usual financial media sites raving on and on about uranium. A year ago they couldn't stop talking about lithium. Now, lithium is practically a four letter word. Every speculative uranium junior has a story to tell and is scrambling to get projects online. Small caps you've never heard of. Just like A.I. is being mentioned in so many companies' AGMs because it's hot news. It was the same with lithium 12 months ago. Lithium stocks everywhere with their unverified projects. The year before that it was buy now pay later. Today you barely hear of BNPL.

One year one commodity is hot, the next year the league table can change completely.

Copper has been around for thousands of years. I suspect that when (not if) the copper price is 50 cents to a dollar a pound higher *a lot* of the problems I presume Rex is having behind -the-scenes with Hillside will magically disappear very quickly. And unlike Caravel, Havilah and the Queensland juniors (no disrespect intended. They are worthy projects), we're fully permitted and ready to roll. A higher copper price would solve so many problems. Surely we're next cab off the rank in Australia for being built. Short of a world recession, I struggle to see the current copper price being an incentive for enough new production to meet future demand.

Also, Rex seems to have a renewed focus on Hog's Ranch in the past couple of months. I suspect there's more to this story than we're being told -- in a good way. Maybe some early stage potential buyers want more drilling before making an offer. Or RL and team suspect a lot more gold is there, and it can be documented expeditiously to take advantage of the current gold price. I have no idea. But it feels like there's been a deliberate pivot in focus.
