If the investor approached the company and pumped in $1.5m at 20c and the usual 7% fee isn't charged, then the effective buy in price was 21.4c... still at a nice discount, but without a fee and the time to undertake a cap raise or placement, this quick cash grab means limited distraction for the board.

Another benefit may derive from how high net wealth families operate... High net wealth families usually look at what others are doing and leverage off the due diligence or reputation of the first family to move. Hope we got a high quality one here.
