Look at it maybe this way perhaps, the market is a roller coaster ride everyone has their own theory the way they like to trade whether long or short term or daily trading if a price drops significantly you could consider buying more to reduce buy in price or for example if you brought a 100 share's at a higher price could buy another hundred at favourable lower price then when reasonable lift can sell original 100 and keep the hundred at the low price only if you have the free cash to use of course not sure if this is helpful or not just personal thought's.
