Pleased for holders to see some life in the sp. No doubt I'd prefer to be selling out now rather than the lower price I did sell for. (that's my context)
That said. There is something I don't like much about this announcement. They are talking about a number of approaches or enquiries, but nothing further along than that. How do you get a number of enquiries but none of them firming up just a little bit past that point? Sure it's possible but just a small red flag for me. So what interest has actually been expressed? If no discussions have taken place and nothing put on paper then it's quite nebulous. Did person x from company y just phone up xf1 one day and ask.....what? what would they ask that doesn't involve any formal discussions? And then that has supposedly happened multiple times? But no offer has eventuated?
Hopefully an offer comes out of this. If an offer does not come out of this then holders would rightfully feel a little cheesed off and maybe even a little sus.
The other little red flag, a related one, is the vagueness of the statement. So vague they were asked to follow up. Not sure the second statement really clarified things all that much. Another little red flag has been the 'firming' of the sp PRIOR to the announcement.
