But at least we are holding a lot of cash, which hopefully can be carefully invested during these turbulent months, and still getting generous monthly dividends (granted, they are from said cash reserves assuming we don't make any profits this period), which is good enough for a small LIC.

I hope I am not proven wrong, but based on the facts we know as of now, my current view is that there are definitely worse places to park your money in the short/medium term than CVF.
