Agree with your points & yes I think the RRL & SBM (Atlantic) acquisitions were definitely overpriced. Every project has its own unique characteristics as you've pointed out.
Another very recent one was GCY's script takeover/merger with FFR for undeveloped open pit proposed 196,388oz at 1.45g/t (0.7g/t Au cut-off) and located 110km by road from GYC's mill at well over $100/oz. ($120/oz from memory)
