Ann: Strategic Review of Portfolio, page-8

I'm not really sure what management of an O&G exploration company do if they need an independent review to advise the best strategy to explore their own portfolio. This may be a crazy idea, but shouldn't that be part of the job that they are already paid quite well to do? If they aren't certain enough of their own strategy that they freak out after one duster and waste time and money on a review, maybe we do need better management. I would rather see them just get on with drilling their best bets, they still have free carry and hopefully they won't have the bad luck and poor drilling performance on the next project.
