    "AustralianSuper lobs $5.1b bid for Infratil
    William McInnes
    AustralianSuper says it has submitted a proposal to acquire all shares in the dual-listed Infratil for a total consideration of $NZ7.43 a share, or $NZ5.37 billion ($5.09 billion).
    The offer consists of a cash consideration of $NZ5.79 a share and 0.221 of a Trustpower share per Infratil share.
    The cash offer represents a 39.2 per cent premium to its closing price on December 4 of $NZ4.16.
    AustralianSuper said it would continue to seek engagement with the Infratil board to afford Infratil shareholders the opportunity to assess the proposal in full."
