You can argue about Victor's pay if you like, it's immaterial though when considering if the company is making money or not. If a few hundred thousand is a problem for a mining company, they have much bigger problems, hence the strategic review.
Really the company is just finally admitting what the market has been saying for ages, the project just isn't economic except at unsustainably high nickel prices
