Gaz, just a couple of polite counterviews to the old “I’m too far down to sell here”:
1. One doesn’t have to make money back the same way they lost it 2. How does a stock lose 90%? It loses 80%, then halves again
Not specific advice of course, but I think these are very wise general adages that ring true time and time again. I watched so many people on stocks like APX, EML, ZIP etc say “am too far down to sell” only for their investment to halve again from there (or worse). If I pick a stinker, I think: heck, there’s 2,200 ASX stocks out there (and at least 50-100 quality ones), fresh opportunity abounds.
Not sure if that’s useful, but good luck whatever you choose and very sorry to you and other holders for what seems like an unacceptable rug-pull by management. All the best. Cheers
