try extracting Li from the ocean and see how much it costs you!!!
the Li ores which are economical to mine are few and far in between.
Note: Iron ore is the most abundant from the Earth's crust, yet ONLY in a few places on this planet are economical to mine.
You can dig in your backyard and find Iron ores and Li too. But you won't be able to economically extract it as a business.
