A 30% drop in price with the anticipated increase of another 2.3M NEV vehicles sales expected for 2024?
They are expected increase sales from 8.8M units in 2023 to 11M units for 2024 - that's on conservative estimates.
Some are predicting 13M units sold in 2024.
Where are they going to find 2.3M @ 8kg Li in additional supplies - which equates to 18,400,000 kg of Li.
If its the optimistic scenario - at 13M units, that's 4.2M @8kg Li = 33,600,000 kg of Li.
That new demand is only for China - not for the rest of the world.
