The current.
The first had many strengths and good intentions but lacked the experience required in the business.
I know there are a lot of Shane supporters here, and I completely understand the desire for heads to fall, but from my perspective, Shane did nothing to show he had any semblance of care about the company's success or share price during his time as CEO.
We all heard the promises of big deals, new contracts, great opportunities, and nothing came from it. Absolutely nothing. I don't see what possibly changes from that now, from his six months in that role. He speaks about the board shutting him down, and maybe that was the case (I don't know), but I do also know for almost his entire time as CEO, he wasn't at all active in the business to make any significant change. I don't disagree with everything Shane has to say, though, and I do hope whoever ends up leading the company takes on the good amongst the rant.
I don't think the current leadership is perfect, and Michelle was hilariously flawed, so I'm happy for that change. Still, I'm far more confident in their proposal than Shanes and can see the business growing through their plan and hopefully getting the share price into a far stronger position.
