well it doesn't say the tenements are being transferred, it says they are being applied for.
Surely they'll be purchasing the tenements from SO4. If it was just an application to the Govt then there would be no guarantee that APC would win them, and therefore there would be no legitimate reason for APC to enter a price-sensitive trading halt regarding an acquisition.
Another concern is that APC currently have an MRE of "18.1Mt of SOP at 7.59kg/m3 contained within the 305km2", yet this new acquisition only provides "between 9.5Mt and 24Mt of SOP" despite the new tenements being almost twice the area of our current holdings. That's a much lower grade, especially if only 9.5MT is available, so my concern is that this new ground may not be economically viable (given all the trouble that the other players have been having).
