Dunno Droid, you gonna have deep pockets to do such operations, they will have few options
1-to raise a decent amount of money
2-give it away for NSR % which wont move the needle by much
3-sell it for a good cash backing
simple math:
150,000x 3300= 495m
150,000 oz if purchased at 500$/oz= 75m
at 250$/oz= 37.5m
best case scenario is 500$ since the gold price is so strong, and demand is only increasing.
however i will take the lower end give me 40m
revenue from this project at today gold price 495m and AISC of 2300$ that will be 375m in cost
120m in profit
not bad for a good high grade low tonnage gold deposit
plus the miner has the ability to expand on these resources
it looks good on paper as long as they can make a deal.
for the miner why not, the location of this deposit is very strategic.
its a win win bet but as long as the 2 mobs meet on common grounds and see the potential.
with 40m in the bank, andrew smith can pick all the ripe fruits and put on his resume how he brought this explorer to become a gold producer.
and how he made amazing discoveries, that took us shareholders and ex-management years in the waiting.
if he cant strike such deal, he needs to be shown the door ASAP because we had enough of wasting time.
