What I like is that usually a bad downgrade is followed by a cascade of them. Certainly we had 2 - one in Feb and one in August last year. However things have stabilised and an upgrade to the bottom end of the profit range. Dividend is still looking good and they are confident enough to do a share buy back.
the overhang from the court cases is unpleasant but half of Aus’s financial institutions seem to have copped fines over the last few years and move on from it. So I am happy to hold and I already own a big parcel otherwise would be buying at these prices.
