Why move away from developing your best asset at a critical point in time, drilling the high grade core, to chase copper and gold with borrowed money. At a time when fear reigns over the market, wouldn't it be better to back the sure thing?
Then flaunt the idea of bringing in a strategic investor or joint venture partner on the deposit.
UNLESS,
The drilling results from the 5 diamond scout holes and gold assays from lucky break showed enough faith and are worth pursuing further. But these weren't/haven't been released to the market yet.
And probably won't be released until the AGM or after once the loan becomes shareholder approved.
Can only hope the drill core showed visible metal.
